Arelion flash call detection recognizes and blocks:

• Zero-duration flash calls
• Flash call fraud (artificially generated OTP SMSs, converted into flash calls by a fraudulent carrier)
• Pin-to-Speech (P2S) / text-to-speech

After implementing our efficient flash call detection solution, MNOs gain full control of: 

• Flash Call monetization: MNOs implement a dedicated flash call termination trunk, independent of existing international voice trunks. Billing is carried out on a "per call session/ attempt" basis. 
• Flash Call blocking: Incoming flash calls can be blocked and redirected through alternative authentication channels, such as SMS. This can facilitate an immediate increase in SMS A2P (Application to Person) traffic.
