New routes

Connectivity changes constantly and we are always adding new routes – bringing the award-winning Arelion network experience to key connectivity hubs around the world. Here are our newest routes:

New Northeastern US Route for additional diversity to Europe

The addition of this diverse, high-capacity transmission route connecting Boston to Secaucus provides our customers with resilient connectivity and fast delivery that bypasses common routes going through Long Island and Manhattan.

This expansion also provides access to the Amitié sea cable system (our fifth trans-Atlantic cable route), augmenting our seamless terabit scale capability across multiple cables connecting the US and Europe, and it establishes Boston as a DWDM service hub. Key benefits include:

  • Unique northern routing via New Hampshire and Vermont from Boston to Albany
  • A southerly route connecting Orangeburg, NY (1547 Realty) and then Secaucus (Equinix NY5), completely bypassing Manhattan
  • Metro connectivity in Boston at CoreSite (70 Innerbelt) and the Markley Bldg (1 Summer Street)
  • Open Optical Line system supporting C+L Band and multi-vendor 400G wave capability including Bright 400G-ZR+ disaggregated optics.
