the company's network strategy, responsible for the selection and evolution of all network technology solutions; a vital part of enabling CityFibre’s world-class wholesale access infrastructure platform.

David joined CityFibre from Ciena where, as CTO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa he was responsible for leveraging Ciena's technology and operational leadership to enable partner success and drive Ciena’s regional business reputation and growth.

One of David’s earlier positions was at Level 3 Communications as European Director of Engineering where he delivered IP, Transport and CDN networks, with a focus on driving cost efficiency and maximizing commercial opportunities. From there he became CTO at euNetworks, where he took responsibility for technology selection, platform lifecycle and network integration.
