There’s a certain kind of person who gets a little bit too excited about networks. Mattias is that guy. If he had a tattoo, it would be of a network. Mattias holds an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wollongong, Australia. He joined Telia in 1996 and has worked in a number of senior roles at Telia Carrier (now Arelion), most recently as CTO. Since July 2016 he has been Arelion's Chief Evangelist. Mattias’ passion isn’t limited to networks: He has played golf professionally and competed on a high level in both football and floor hockey.
Jérôme Fleury
Jérôme Fleury
Jérôme Fleury is Director of Network Engineering at Cloudflare. Since 2013, Jérôme has been discovering the world of globally distributed edge network with Cloudflare, where he’s currently managing the network engineering group. Prior to joining Cloudflare, Jérôme helped build large Internet Service Providers in France including Tiscali and Telecom Italia. There, he managed the Telecom Italia backbone in France before joining the newly built French internet exchange – FranceIX – as a technical manager in 2011. While with FranceIX, he enjoyed facilitating the rebirth of peering in France. Jérôme is a French citizen living in San Francisco, California.
